Second RootRural Co-creation Laboratory | Coworking, remote work and coliving

As part of the RootRural / Raíces y Horizontes project, we held our second co-creation laboratory, focused on coworking, remote work and coliving as new ways to attract population and create opportunities in rural areas.

A total of 34 people took part in the session, creating five working groups that addressed different challenges related to living and working in rural villages.

During the laboratory, a wide variety of proposals emerged: from projects aimed at connecting rural coworking spaces, to ideas focused on improving connectivity and solving problems such as lack of Wi-Fi or the difficulties of remote working in some municipalities.

After the project presentations, participants voted for the most viable proposal to receive support and mentoring over the coming months.

✨ The selected project was: Linde Espacio que Une

An idea born from collective work, citizen participation and a shared vision between local people and international participants.

A new phase now begins to continue developing this proposal and explore how it can move towards possible implementation.
